About the position

The Software Developer role is designed for an experienced developer who will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver and implement software solutions that enhance business operations. This position emphasizes the importance of leveraging technology to drive company success and requires a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of software engineers in the implementation of enhancements to PIM/EPM and EPS.
• Contribute to leading edge processes like continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test-driven development.
• Design, build, and test enterprise applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Demonstrate the ability to be a team player as well as an independent performer.
• Work with defect tracking, source code control, and software release systems to ensure high-quality software releases over time.
• Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Accountable for timely, complete, and quality delivery of system development and deployment activities.
• Partner and foster collaboration with IT, business partners, and internal and external parties.
• Collaborate with agile teams to understand customer scenarios, analyze requirements and/or user stories to plan and determine technical approach and design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience with .Net (C#), C++, SQL Server, XML, MVC.
• 2+ years of technical experience in an enterprise scale MS SQL Server environment.
• 2+ years of experience in working with a diverse team of developers including offshore teams and third party vendors.
• Experience in using a variety of IT management tools such as TFS, Git, Chef, and JIRA.
• Proven experience in implementing configurable Vendor Software packages.
• Knowledge of WCF, XML, Web Oriented Architecture, and SOA frameworks desired.
• Experience with MDM (Master Data Management) solution software desired.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile context.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
