About the position

DCI Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This position is focused on providing cyber security and development expertise to protect our systems against cyber threats. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and managing safeguards against cyberattacks, as well as identifying, mitigating, and resolving vulnerabilities within existing security systems. You will work directly with penetration testers to perform penetration tests and assess potential security problems, developing organization-wide security measures to enhance our cyber defense capabilities. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing performance reports and communicating system status to stakeholders. You will also design, engineer, model, analyze, and develop software systems, software delivery processes (including DevOps pipelines), and software development and deployment processes. Your expertise will assist Federal agencies in tailoring Agile development and delivery techniques, engaging with Government leaders to develop Agile processes, plans, and architectures that support software development, analysis, and operations. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor subordinate project and team staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity software development, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with an active TS/SCI Security Clearance. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $200,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a cyber security Software Developer
  • Provide cyber security and development expertise
  • Design, test, implement, and manage safeguards against cyberattacks of the system

Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • 5 years of TS/SCI experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 9+ years of overall relevant experience
  • AS +11 years of experience
  • HS diploma +13 years of experience
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity software development experience
  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II certified
  • DoD 8570.01-m IAM Level III or IASAE Level III certified
  • Experience with embedded system vulnerability development
  • Experience working within a Scrum team or agile environment (Preferred)
