About the position

The team member in this role will be using Alteryx to create custom feeds that align with client or vendor supplied file specifications. Various data sources will be used to create the feeds, and the role is client facing. In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance of JIRA user stories to document file programming progress and status. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to understand file content and format, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that programs are working successfully, and prioritize diverse projects. Additionally, you will be making revisions to existing feeds as necessary and using Alteryx in conjunction with GBT's Data Lake, Global Trip Record (GTR), and Post Travel Backoffice system. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively under time-sensitive deadlines. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a good understanding of software change and release management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of JIRA user stories to document file programming progress and status.

  • Prioritizing diverse projects.
  • Making revisions to existing feeds as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Alteryx programming and SQL.
  • At least one year of experience with Tableau programming and development.
  • Practical experience developing relational database feeds and flat files.
  • Working knowledge of travel reporting and data feeds.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Ability to conduct Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Good understanding of software change and release management.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
