Behler-Young is seeking a Software Developer to join their award-winning IT team, focusing on enhancing customer experience through innovative software solutions. This role emphasizes collaboration with external customers, particularly HVAC contractors, to streamline processes and improve e-commerce tools. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver who can engage with both technology and business processes, ensuring that solutions are efficient and well-documented.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and team members to identify and document best processes.
• Develop and maintain browser-based web solutions using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, and other technologies.
• Integrate customer systems with Behler-Young's software to automate processes.
• Present solutions and conduct training sessions for customers and team members.
• Document programming solutions and updates for future reference.
• Engage with vendors and customers to explore technological opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent).
• Experience in full-stack web development, including data structures and UX design.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, C#, Python, and Node.js.
• Experience with ERP software and e-commerce systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud service providers.
• Ability to lead meetings effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple programming languages and technologies.
