About the position

The Software Developer at JT4, LLC will be responsible for designing and integrating software across various platforms, focusing on system instrumentation, radar control, and data collection. This role involves working within research and development engineering groups to create innovative software solutions for complex challenges, requiring both theoretical and practical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate software across multiple platforms.
• Provide system instrumentation and radar control.
• Develop applications for data collection.
• Work collaboratively within research and development engineering groups.
• Perform planning and oversight of research, design, development, production, testing, installation, integration, and maintenance of software systems.
• Independently execute design, development, analysis, or review tasks under project deadlines.

Requirements

• Technical proficiency in embedded software, VxWorks, UI/UX/GUI design, .NET, Visual Studio, WPF, C#, Object Oriented Design, Linux, QNX, Qt, C, Git, and Subversion.
• Understanding of Requirements Definition, Participatory Design, Usability Engineering, and Usability Testing.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and .NET environments.
• Proficiency with C# and Visual Studio on Windows and Linux platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with iterative development processes.
• Knowledge of usability testing methodologies.
