About the position

As a Software Developer at RedMane Technology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing object-oriented n-tier software applications, with a strong focus on web-based applications. Your role will involve creating technical designs for Curam extensions, configurations, and interfaces, ensuring that the software meets the needs of the business. You will collaborate closely with other developers and business analysts to create and test high-quality customizations for the Curam platform. This position encompasses the full life cycle of software development, which includes detailed functional and technical design of web-enabled business applications, as well as database and user interface design. You will also be involved in the development and maintenance of web applications, conducting unit and system testing, and overseeing the deployment and maintenance of these applications. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will work on projects aimed at modernizing legacy systems within a Health and Human Services environment. This is a dynamic role that requires a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills, as you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering effective software solutions. The position allows for telecommuting, providing flexibility in your work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement object-oriented n-tier software applications, including web-based applications.
  • Create technical designs for Curam extensions, configurations, and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with other developers and business analysts to create and test quality Curam customizations.
  • Engage in full life cycle software development, including detailed functional and technical design of web-enabled business applications.
  • Design databases and user interfaces for applications.
  • Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring high quality and performance.
  • Conduct unit and system testing of applications before deployment.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of web applications.
  • Work on projects related to the modernization of legacy systems in a Health and Human Services environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 24 months of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, or a related computer occupation.
  • Experience in Java Enterprise Application Development using object-oriented programming.
  • Experience in Android Application Development.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with Restful, XML, and SOAP-based API web services.
  • Knowledge of Javascript, JSP, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
