About the position

Monnit is seeking full-time Software Engineers/Developers to design and develop innovative hardware and software solutions for the IoT industry. This role involves working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, focusing on the development of web, desktop, and mobile applications, while also participating in daily planning meetings and customer follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and update a variety of software applications.
• Implement new features and fix bugs as they are found.
• Participate in onsite daily team planning meetings as required.
• Gain mastery of Monnit's product lines of sensors, gateways, and software.
• Discuss products intelligently through study of available resources.
• Follow up with customers and share insights with team members to achieve success.
• Work in multiple development environments building web, desktop, and mobile applications.
• Take ownership of challenging projects from requirement gathering through deployment.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• 4+ years' experience with C# and ASP.Net MVC framework.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with relational database design.

Nice-to-haves

• Java Language experience.
• NoSql data store experience.
• Windows Forms/Java Swing experience.
