About the position

Robert Half is seeking a motivated Software Developer who is newer in their career, focusing on full stack development using the .NET framework. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web and desktop applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with C#, WinForms, ASP.NET, and SQL, and have experience in building responsive and scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies and WinForms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Work on both front-end and back-end components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, SQL).

Requirements

• Familiarity with C#, WinForms, ASP.NET, and SQL.
• Experience in building responsive and scalable applications.
• Ability to maintain and enhance older codebases, including identifying and resolving issues, bugs, and technical debt.
• Ability to understand, update, and create documentation for older, undocumented code or outdated architecture.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing.
