About the position

As a Software Developer at Software Galaxy Systems LLC, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of Snapdragon chipsets for the Windows operating system. This position requires you to work directly at client sites, where you will be responsible for developing, testing, and configuring the Snapdragon chipset to ensure seamless integration with Windows OS. Your expertise will be essential in programming Windows OS drivers and firmware, which are critical components for the functionality of the chipset. In this role, you will utilize advanced debugging tools such as Windbg and JTAG to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firmware and Windows drivers. Your ability to optimize chipset performance will be vital, as you will be tasked with enhancing code efficiency to improve overall system performance. Additionally, you will be involved in triaging test failures in chipsets, employing tools like Windbg, JTAG, and T32 to identify and rectify issues effectively. You will also be responsible for developing comprehensive verification plans and test benches for drivers, firmware, and software tailored for the Windows operating system. This position may require limited domestic travel, and you may have the opportunity to telecommute or occasionally relocate to various client locations across the nation, providing you with a dynamic work environment and diverse challenges.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems, or related technical field or foreign equivalent.
