About the position

KBR is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Kihei, HI. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple technical tasks in software design, implementation, and integration projects. You will independently perform exceptionally complex software development tasks, ensuring the efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes. Your expertise will be crucial in mitigating risks, controlling costs and schedule variances, and effectively managing large scale, integrated software projects. Additionally, you will support system and tool accreditation and Authorization to Operate (ATO) approvals, which are essential for maintaining compliance and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple technical tasks in software design, implementation, and integration projects.
• Independently perform exceptionally complex software development tasks.
• Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
• Mitigate risks, control costs/schedule variances, and effectively manage large scale, integrated software projects.
• Support system and tool accreditation and Authorization to Operate (ATO) approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 8 years' experience.
