About the position

SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Software Developer to support its Gulf Coast Operation at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and integrating software applications for government modeling and simulation (M&S) applications. The position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative Agile software development team in a CI/CD DevSecOps environment, contributing to critical defense projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate software applications for government M&S applications.
• Collaborate with an Agile software development team and contribute in a CI/CD DevSecOps environment.
• Design and develop software applications using Azure DevOps, Visual Studio (Python, C#, C++, Razor pages, Web Assembly, WPF), SQL Server, Docker, etc.
• Utilize .NET CORE, .NET 5, .NET 6, and .NET Framework.
• Work within Microsoft Entity Framework.
• Engage with government customers and engineers to understand mission needs and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline technologies and processes in an Agile software development environment.
• Programming language knowledge in C# and/or C++ is desired but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Visual Studio and Docker Containers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
