This role involves creating and maintaining software tools and applications, collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, and providing updates on project progress. The position is a long-term contract opportunity in the software development industry.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Spearhead the design, development, and testing of software applications that meet the needs of our manufacturing environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing software applications, providing timely resolutions and updates.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation within manufacturing workflows.
• Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks and increase operational efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement software solutions that address specific manufacturing challenges and requirements.
• Participate actively in team meetings and one-on-ones to exchange ideas and insights with colleagues.
• Document software selection, software designs, and implementation details to facilitate knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
