About the position

The Software Developer position at D&G Support Services, LLC involves supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Data Environment & Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC) Program. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that enhance logistics solutions for military readiness. The developer will work within a dynamic team to create high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
• Designs and develops software to meet user needs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Develops and conducts software testing to ensure the software is free from bugs and meets design requirements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including web designers, product managers, and QA teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution, or a Bachelor's degree in any field with one of the certifications: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD/Federal Agencies.
• DoD Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, MVC, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net.Net/Core in Visual Studio.
• Experience with computer-aided software engineering tools.
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology.
• Experience with Fortify, SQL, Psql, SQL server, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB, GIS, and cross-platform mobile development.
• Scrum Master Certification.
• USTRANSCOM IT Systems Experience.
