About the position

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Service industry team in Houston, Texas. This role involves working on various projects, including the transfer of payment processing to a new system, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using VB, C#, .NET, and SQL
• Participate in backend development tasks
• Utilize Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking
• Work on Windows form development and API development
• Implement and understand dependency injection, hashing, and security principles
• Contribute to database management and AB testing processes
• Participate in Agile Scrum meetings and processes
• Incorporate the use of Ajax in development tasks
• Implement ASP.NET in application development
• Apply knowledge of payment processing systems to projects

Requirements

• Proficient in Atlassian Jira
• Experience in Backend Development
• Familiarity with Bug Tracking
• Strong knowledge of C++ programming language
• Skilled in Database management and AB Testing
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in Ajax programming
• Experience in API Development
• Proficient in ASP.NET
• Able to work in a service industry environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
