About the position
The Software Development Analyst role at NTT DATA involves developing and enhancing software solutions while collaborating with engineering teams to tackle complex problems. Responsibilities
- Develop software, scripts, programs, extensions, and integrations using languages such as JavaScript, Visual Basic .NET, C#, or Python.
- Maintain and execute Selenium automation tests.
- Enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards.
- Create system documentation and standard operating procedures for enterprise application development.
- Develop new capabilities with infrastructure products using Ruby and Bash.
- Review service requests from the Interactive Production team.
- Implement programming methodologies, standards, and procedures as part of a development team.
- Gather requirements from end users across multiple business units.
- Provide expertise in database design, query building, and user interface design.
- Conform to security and quality standards.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software development.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with front-end CSS and/or JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile development practices (SCRUM).
