About the position

The Software Development Co-Op position at Medpace is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. This full-time, office-based internship will provide an opportunity to work closely with the Information Technology team on various projects that are crucial to the company's success. Interns will be involved in the development, support, and installation of computer software, gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. The role emphasizes collaboration within a team setting, allowing interns to contribute to meaningful tasks that impact the organization positively. Interns will assist in collecting, analyzing, and documenting user requirements, which is essential for understanding the needs of the end-users and ensuring that the software developed meets those needs. Additionally, the position includes participation in the software validation process, where interns will develop, review, and execute test cases and scripts. This experience is vital for ensuring the quality and functionality of the software before it is deployed. Furthermore, interns will support development managers as necessary, providing a comprehensive view of the software development lifecycle and the various roles involved in it. Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development, support, and installation of computer software
  • Collect, analyze and document user requirements
  • Participate in software validation process through development, review, and execution of test cases and scripts
  • Assist with the development and execution of validation plans and test cases
  • Support development managers as necessary

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
