About the position

The Software Development Engineer in this team is responsible for developing highly scalable software solutions that enable privacy compliant and high quality data collection capability for model training, development and improvement. As part of the AGI team, a Software Development Engineer will collaborate closely with product managers, program managers, peer software development engineers, and leadership to execute the software development lifecycle and deliver results. This includes designing highly scalable software services, integrating model-in-the-loop and human-in-the-loop capabilities to collect and measure quality of data, and implementing privacy guardrails to ensure customer privacy. In addition to this, the software development engineer is also responsible for deploying the software to production systems and handling operational issues to strive for excellence in the software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, program managers, and peer software development engineers to execute the software development lifecycle.
• Design highly scalable software services for data collection.
• Integrate model-in-the-loop and human-in-the-loop capabilities to measure data quality.
• Implement privacy guardrails to ensure customer privacy.
• Deploy software to production systems and handle operational issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
