About the position

The Software Development Engineer for Alexa Audio Monetization will play a crucial role in transforming the way users enjoy podcasts, books, and storytelling on Alexa. This position involves independent technical ownership of new customer features and supporting architecture, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience. The role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to refine Alexa's entertainment offerings.

Responsibilities

• Take independent technical ownership of new customer features and supporting architecture.
• Build software services for Gen AI-based orchestrators.
• Develop cohesive voice and graphical interfaces.
• Create scalable APIs for Alexa entertainment products.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to enhance customer experience.
• Deliver new features quickly while maintaining a fun team culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
