About the position

As a Software Development Engineer for Alexa Audio/Music at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how people enjoy music through Alexa. This position is part of a dynamic team responsible for integrating popular music services such as Prime Music, Spotify, Pandora, SiriusXM, and Live Radio into the Alexa ecosystem. Your work will directly impact the design, architecture, and implementation of features that are utilized daily by millions of users. Responsibilities

  • Leading development and maintenance of key system features

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
