About the position

The Utility Computing (UC) team at AWS is responsible for the development and management of various cloud services, including Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps. This role involves supporting customers with specialized security solutions and contributing to the continuous innovation of AWS's product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.
• Assist customers requiring specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scaling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
