About the position

The AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) team is seeking engineers to revolutionize the management of TLS/SSL certificates, enhancing security for communications and identity on the internet. This role involves collaborating with AWS customers and internal developers to automate and simplify interactions with certificates, aiming to eliminate issues like certificate expiration and unencrypted connections. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team within the AWS Cryptography organization, focusing on innovative solutions in a supportive environment that values continuous learning and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design and launch innovative products and services.
• Create solutions for running predictions on distributed systems using cutting-edge technologies at scale.
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective distributed storage, indexing, and query systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
