About the position

As a Software Development Engineer for the AWS Console Mobile Platform team, you will lead a high-performing engineering team to deliver critical features on the AWS Console Mobile app. This role involves working cross-functionally with AWS service teams to enhance customer experiences and develop business opportunities. You will have end-to-end responsibility for defining requirements and delivering features that enable personalized experiences on both iOS and Android platforms, impacting AWS customers globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of mobile platform features
• Own the architecture, quality, performance, and operational excellence for your team
• Contribute substantively to innovation on mobile and overcome technology limitations to deliver on customer experience
• Work with other engineering teams to deliver solutions that scale
• Hire and develop highly-motivated engineers

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
