As a member of this diverse team, which includes software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, you will collaborate with colleagues across AWS to uphold the highest standards of safety and security while delivering seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost. In this role, you will help AWS customers by designing and delivering new products that accelerate network scaling projects within AWS data centers. The software you will develop is crucial for meeting the growing demand for data center network capacity. Your team will build software systems that assist builders in data centers with technical cable and patching operations, troubleshooting network device and cabling issues, and preventing human errors that could impact customers. The systems you create will operate at a massive scale, supporting a constant stream of network scaling operations across more than 105 sites worldwide. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for designing software that aids physical processes and have the technical depth to understand how network device provisioning and cabling contribute to delivering usable capacity to AWS customers. You will lead technical trade-off decisions with stakeholders and developers across various teams, finding simple and innovative software and process solutions to complex problems.
