About the position

The AWS Route 53 Resolver team is seeking a mid-level Software Development Engineer to develop cloud security services focused on zero trust network access capabilities for AWS customers. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying systems that protect enterprise customers from cyberattacks and data loss. The position emphasizes collaboration with a diverse team and requires a strong background in engineering large-scale networking software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy zero trust systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to influence overall strategy and define the team's roadmap.
• Drive system architecture and spearhead best practices for quality products.
• Coach and develop junior engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
