Our designs are not only industry-leading in terms of frugality and operational excellence, but they are also critical to the success of the AWS business and the millions of customers who rely on AWS today. As part of this team, you will tackle challenging technology problems and build architecturally sound, high-quality components that enable AWS to realize its critical business strategies. In this role, you will be an innovative self-starter with a strong background in software and a deep understanding of server hardware and firmware. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of our server firmware stack and analyze it in both its current and future contexts. Your projects will leverage your extensive knowledge of the system to identify the best solutions for complex multi-factor system designs and issues. Collaboration will be key, as you will work with engineers across the company and external partners to lead development efforts. This is an opportunity to shape the future of cloud computing technology and make a significant impact on how people use computers. As a member of the team, you will be involved in designing AWS-specific hardware and software, participating in the development process from conception through production. You will explore emerging technologies and assess their impact on AWS, working closely with AWS engineering teams to tailor devices for our unique environment. Your contributions will directly influence our bottom line and enhance the experience for our developers, all while being part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that values ownership and innovation. AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continuous access to the innovations they rely on. Our team tackles the most challenging problems, navigating thousands of variables that impact the supply chain, and we are looking for talented individuals who want to contribute to this mission. You will join a diverse group of professionals, including software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, all working together to deliver the highest standards of safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. At AWS, we embrace diverse experiences and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply, even if they do not meet all the preferred qualifications. We value work-life harmony and strive for flexibility in our working culture, ensuring that success at work does not come at the expense of personal sacrifices.
