About the position

The Hardware Engineering - Console Telemetry Team is a vital part of AWS Engineering, which is recognized as one of the largest infrastructure as a service (IaaS) offerings globally. Our systems operate continuously, 24/7, even in the most challenging environments, serving over a million customers daily who expect high performance, particularly under demanding compute workloads. As a Software Development Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for creating, deploying, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that are essential for collecting telemetry data from hardware across multiple regions. This role involves owning a tier-1 service that has visibility at the senior leadership level, providing an excellent opportunity for career advancement. AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Create, deploy, and maintain large-scale distributed systems for telemetry collection.
  • Own a tier-1 service with senior leadership visibility.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists across AWS.

  • Contribute to the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
