About the position

The Software Development Engineer for IaC Provider Experience at Amazon is responsible for applying technical leadership in the CloudFormation Registry space. This role focuses on designing and implementing enhanced customer experiences for Resource Providers and developers, facilitating the integration of Registry resources into customer accounts. The position also involves creating tools and mechanisms to support scalable engagement models for AWS service teams utilizing CloudFormation resource packages for infrastructure deployment.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical leadership for projects in the CloudFormation Registry space.
• Design and implement customer experience improvements for Resource Providers and developers.
• Create tools and mechanisms for scalable engagement with AWS service teams.
• Facilitate the integration of Registry resources into customer accounts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
