About the position

The Software Development Engineer in the IaC Provider Experience team at Amazon is responsible for applying technical leadership to enhance the customer experience for Resource Providers and developers using AWS services. This role involves designing and implementing tools that facilitate scalable engagement models for AWS service teams, enabling them to deploy infrastructure changes effectively. The position focuses on developing services and client software that empower customers to manage their infrastructure at scale using AWS's Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical leadership for projects in the CloudFormation Registry space.
• Design and implement customer experience improvements for Resource Providers and developers.
• Create tools and mechanisms for scalable engagement with AWS service teams.
• Support the development and management of AWS services including Compute, Database, and Storage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
