About the position

The Software Development Engineer will join Amazon's Digital Acceleration team, responsible for developing scalable web services that support the publishing, pricing, and purchase of various digital content. This role involves leading the architecture and development of high-scale web services and workflows, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that are visible to both customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of high-scale web services and workflows.
• Design and develop back-end web services using cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Implement design patterns to enhance reliability and scalability of systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
