About The Position

The Software Development Engineer in Network Capacity Services at AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating AWS global infrastructure. Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanisms that help your team deliver results for customers and raise the operational bar.
• Work closely with Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products.
• Assist with deployment and sustaining of networking software tools.
• Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes.
• Collaborate with highest tier escalation engineers/resolvers.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers to deliver best-in-class services.
