About the position

The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for developing an Asset Source Checker using AI services. This internal tool will allow users to upload assets for comparison against a repository of source assets, providing compliance information regarding usage rights, copyright, and expiration dates. The role involves implementing image comparison capabilities, managing asset metadata, and ensuring the tool's functionality and scalability through testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Implement image comparison capabilities using an AI-based vision API.
• Collect source assets and metadata through integration with a DAM, manual migration, or web scraping.
• Set up a system to store and manage assets and their associated metadata.
• Develop a front-end interface for users to upload assets and view compliance results.
• Ensure functionality, accuracy, and scalability through testing.
• Set up CI/CD for deployment and version control.

Requirements

• Experience with AI services for image comparison.
• Proficiency with cloud-based storage and databases.
• Strong skills in JavaScript for backend and frontend development.
• Experience with low-code platforms or custom UI development.
