The System Architecture & Pro Workflow teams at Apple are integral to enhancing the performance and capabilities of Apple products across various platforms, including Mac, iPhone, and iPad. We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Manager to lead our team, which focuses on developing and deploying software tools, automating workloads, and providing infrastructure support. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our engineering teams have the resources and tools they need to succeed. As a Manager, you will be responsible for defining and delivering system architecture tools and features, resource planning, and development schedules. You will also oversee the delivery of IT services across three physical sites on the West Coast, supporting two distinct groups within the organization. In this position, you will advise and encourage engineering best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality capabilities. You will have the opportunity to define and grow a diverse and extraordinary Engineering Team, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Software Engineering Manager for at least five years, leading teams that include System Administrators, Systems Engineers, and DevOps Engineers. You will need to demonstrate the ability to lead multiple projects under tight deadlines, achieving meaningful results while mentoring and developing your team. Your leadership will be characterized by a commitment to software and engineering excellence, ensuring that the needs of the organization are met effectively.
