In this role, you will manage a critical service that the AWS Field uses to deliver hands-on engagements to AWS Customers and Partners in a scalable and secure manner. The demand for this service is consistently growing, which allows for the management of an increasing scope and the potential to grow your team over time based on the service and business needs. Our team is responsible for services utilized by thousands of AWS Solutions Architects (SAs) to work efficiently and securely with hundreds of thousands of customers. As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of engineers focused on the content and event management/delivery aspects of the service. The ideal candidate is passionate about owning large-scale services that prioritize high quality, usability, and availability. You will be happiest when leading empowered, highly capable engineers to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a commitment to growing your team to meet new challenges and collaborating with other AWS Service teams to tackle large, complex problems. You will work closely with a diverse and talented team of engineers and product managers throughout the full product development lifecycle to ideate, build, operate, and scale impactful customer-facing features.
