About the position

Intuit is seeking an Audit Data Analyst to join its Platform Security Engineering team. This role is crucial in preparing audit narratives for leadership review prior to audits. The primary responsibility involves running applications to collect necessary data and filling in existing audit narrative templates. The Audit Data Analyst will also escalate issues to relevant leaders for customization when required. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess some technical skills to run scripts and applications, and have a strong interest in learning Python scripting/programming. A passion for security and software engineering is essential for success in this role. The Audit Data Analyst will work closely with team members to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the narratives and reports produced. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning, particularly in expanding automation capabilities through Python scripting. Familiarity with audit processes and procedures is beneficial, as the candidate will be mapping policy, control standards, and control requirements to various cloud resource types, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure. Responsibilities

  • Run already created scripts and applications to collect data
  • Author audit narratives/reports leveraging pre-existing templates and data
  • Escalate issues to relevant leaders when necessary
  • Map policy, control standards, and control requirements to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure resource types and determine the best way to implement those requirements
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency of narratives/reports
  • Interest in expanding automation capabilities (using Python scripting)
  • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools and techniques in automation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting) or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in audit data analysis, audit automation, or a related field
  • Experience with automated data collection tools and script development
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with audit processes and procedures
  • Understanding of and experience with Python scripting and GitHub is a plus
