About the position

Responsibilities

• Interact with researchers and engineers to develop AI systems and applications.
• Transform AI research ideas into scalable, robust systems.
• Create, maintain, and support applications and infrastructure for AI research.
• Deliver production-level code to support commercialization of research assets.
• Collaborate on projects related to Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, and Business Automation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled BS students in a relevant field.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience with backend storage technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and IBM Cloud.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices including agile methodologies.
• Strong system building, debugging, and testing skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in machine learning engineering and creating training pipelines.
• Familiarity with web application development frameworks like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience in user research and user-centric design.
• Ability to analyze large-scale data from various sources.
• Previous experience publishing scientific results in conferences.
