Responsibilities

  • Design and implement applications for integration within the FactSet product suite.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies to solve challenges in the investment community.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) conferred by June 2025.
  • Experience programming with an OOP language (C++, Python, Java, C#, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming and design.
  • Understanding of modern web technologies like JavaScript, Typescript, Vue, HTML5/CSS3.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with relational or unstructured database technology such as Postgres, SQL, Kafka, Cassandra.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technology stack in AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Desire to design and implement reliable and superior software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with and managing a large code base.
  • Programming in a multi-threaded, distributed environment.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux programming environments.
