About the position

The Software Engineer - Analytics Cloud position at Oracle is designed for new college graduates, specifically targeting those who are current students or have graduated within 12 months of the target start date in June/July 2025. This role is part of a program aimed at enhancing the learning experience of early-career talent while providing opportunities to work across multiple teams within the Oracle Analytics Cloud organization. The program is structured to help new hires build their professional network and accelerate their career development, ultimately contributing to the success of Oracle's next-generation services and solutions. Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is recognized as a leading business analytics and business intelligence platform, offering a comprehensive suite of analytic and reporting capabilities. The platform is designed to deliver enterprise-class performance, security, scalability, and manageability, along with innovative features in core analytics. OAC allows users to visualize, analyze, and explore data, creating consumable data products such as interactive dashboards and reports. This enables companies to gain a holistic view of their performance and optimize their decision-making processes. The role involves working within a highly successful product development team, utilizing an agile and iterative process to develop, debug, and design enterprise-class software applications. As a Software Engineer, you will be expected to apply your knowledge of software development to manage tasks related to software development, including debugging and designing applications. You will engage in programs and initiatives to analyze root causes of issues and recommend suitable solutions in a timely manner. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about solving complex problems through coding and are eager to contribute to the development of sophisticated cloud services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing enterprise-class software applications.
  • Support, debug, and provide solutions within a highly successful product development team.
  • Engage in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Work within an agile, iterative process to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of software development to solve enterprise-grade cloud services problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field by August 2025.
  • Proficient in Java and at least one additional programming language (C, C++, JavaScript, Python, SQL).
  • Ability to implement sophisticated algorithms and data structures in complex systems.
  • Completed coursework, projects, internships, or research in three or more technical areas such as Databases, Computer Systems, Linux/UNIX, Object Oriented Design, Operating Systems, or User Interface Design.
  • At least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience in relevant technical areas.
  • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
