About the position

The position involves building large-scale data platforms to enhance user experience at TikTok. The role focuses on developing intelligent data solutions, improving software reliability, and managing complex systems. The candidate will work with various programming languages and server architectures to optimize performance and handle high request volumes.

Responsibilities

• Build large-scale data platforms to analyze, monitor and improve the user experience.
• Develop advanced intelligent data platforms to assist client developers in decision-making.
• Improve software and system reliability while managing scale and complexity challenges.
• Introduce new server architecture and deploy software enhancements for optimal hardware performance.
• Create software solutions for Unix/Linux operating systems using languages such as C, C++, Go, Java, and/or Rust.
• Leverage large-scale distributed systems and deploy database systems.

Requirements

• Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related work experience.
• 1 year of experience in developing software using Java, Go, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience in designing and implementing User Interfaces and scripts using HTML, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience in maintaining and debugging software.
• Experience in designing and implementing software service architecture for high throughput and fault tolerant services.
• Experience in designing and managing databases using MySQL or Redis.
• Experience using Unix/Linux operating systems.
