About the position

The Software Engineer/Architect will play a crucial role in the Consulting and Analytics Group at Acclaim Technical Services, focusing on software architecture development, requirements analysis, and the integration of software technologies to meet client needs. This position involves collaborating with customers and development teams to design, create, test, and maintain software applications, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support software architecture development, requirements analysis, and process execution.
• Design, create, test, and maintain software-based applications to satisfy customer requirements.
• Follow a formal design process using specifications and data flow diagrams.
• Coordinate the creation and collection of necessary technology components for site design.
• Design and develop user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.
• Develop and maintain software development technical documentation.
• Provide software process management and configuration management throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Resolve software issues and respond to suggestions for improvements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Java 11 for ATO purposes.
• Experience with Angular JS and Tomcat 9.
• Knowledge of MySQL 8, including SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Hibernate, Maven, and Eclipse.
• Experience with Elastic Search and Linux commands.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Confluence and Jira.
• Knowledge of Angular and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Jasmine test framework and Apache Tika.
• Experience with LDAP and SMTP.
• Knowledge of JUnit, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3).
