About The Position
The Mk21A team at Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced leader to provide key technical direction and management to their development teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of software products that are utilized in the creation of two deliverable National Instrument-based test stations. This role involves performing the software engineering lifecycle in accordance with the Software Development Plan (SDP), which includes requirements gathering, analysis, unit testing, integration, and providing support for formal testing and delivery. The candidate will also participate in technical reviews and audits of software products to ensure quality and compliance with standards. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to take ownership of software development activities and facilitate the application of agile methodologies. This position requires working in a highly collaborative environment, with frequent and direct interactions with peers and occasional customer engagements. The candidate should possess excellent skills to perform effectively within a small, highly skilled team in a dynamic environment. The preferred candidate will be adept at multi-tasking, adapting to change, and will have strong organizational and communication skills. This role will involve a mix of providing guidance and hands-on delivery of program artifacts, ensuring that the team meets its objectives efficiently and effectively.
