About the position

Crusoe Energy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their cloud software team, focusing on the development and management of scalable and robust software solutions for their managed AI services platform. The role involves designing and optimizing infrastructure to support carbon-reducing operations, contributing to code development, and collaborating with peers to drive innovation in cloud computing.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of scalable and robust software solutions aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap.
  • Collaborate with tech leads and engineers to foster a creative and technically excellent environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud software and incorporate insights into Crusoe's offerings.
  • Support peer development by sharing knowledge and providing guidance in technical discussions.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, with strong experience in Systems Engineering.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in GoLang.
  • Experience with Linux Engineering and debugging.
  • Skilled in infrastructure as code and familiar with systems-level challenges.
  • Experience with Terraform and GCP (preferred).
  • Understanding of Argo, CI/CD, and Automated Testing pipelines.
  • Ability to build and manage software systems for reliability and efficiency.
  • Experience in developing scalable systems to compete with leading services like GKE and EKS.
  • Ability to oversee critical projects focused on networking, quality control, and automation.
  • Design system architecture, including CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring security standards are met.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
