About the position

The Software Engineer - Computer Vision / AI position at Everguard, Inc. focuses on developing and maintaining applications that leverage advanced machine learning and computer vision technologies to enhance industrial safety. Responsibilities

• Create and maintain applications for computer vision and artificial intelligence.
• Work alongside field engineers to test and troubleshoot systems for optimal performance.
• Refactor and maintain existing code to enhance functionality and efficiency.
• Conduct rapid prototyping (PoC) and integrate software with hardware solutions.
• Engage in requirements analysis, architecture development, and software design to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• 4+ years in computer vision and machine learning.
• Proficient in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with AWS, Git, and Docker.
• Familiarity with Linux OS.
• Understanding of parallel computing and TCP/IP networking.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in startup environments.
• Knowledge of sensor and IoT technologies.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
