Responsibilities

• Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent visual systems that enhance Meta's products.
• Advance the state of AI for your problem area, including setting and executing long-term roadmaps.
• Define projects for other engineers to solve, ensuring impactful outcomes based on your direction.
• Develop novel and accurate AI algorithms and advanced systems for large-scale applications.
• Analyze model configurations to understand their effectiveness and drive improvements based on findings.
• Define use cases and develop methodologies and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure in C/C++ or Python.
• Experience in areas such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, 3D Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, or artificial intelligence.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development.
• Experience in deep learning and PyTorch.
• Experience contributing to AI publications.
