The Software Engineer, Computer Vision (Technical Leadership) role is pivotal in driving the technical direction and goals of the team, ensuring that the organization operates efficiently and effectively. In this position, you will be responsible for inventing, analyzing, designing, developing, and optimizing real-time computer vision algorithms that are crucial for VR and AR applications. This includes working on 3D reconstruction, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), object detection and tracking, sensor fusion, and camera calibration. As a technical leader, you will collaborate across various scientific and engineering disciplines, making architectural trade-offs to deliver software solutions rapidly. Your work will involve developing software for a range of consumer devices, including novel sensing, tracking, imaging, and haptic systems.
