There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
As a member of the Data and Evaluation team at Pony.ai, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a diverse set of backend services and tools that will significantly impact Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Your work will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from fleet data collection and processing to machine learning workflows, as well as the evaluation and validation of the ADAS software stack. You will be tasked with designing and implementing tools and pipelines to handle data from autonomous vehicles, which includes data labeling, batch processing, simulation, and the evaluation of both systems and modules. In this role, you will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining monitoring systems for key metrics, latency, and alerts. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with various components of autonomous driving technology, diving deep into each component to design corresponding evaluation metrics and tools. Your strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python will be essential as you contribute to the development of these systems. The position requires a solid understanding of large data set processing and familiarity with real-time systems, as well as experience in a fast-paced and structured engineering environment. Full stack experience, including both front-end and back-end development, is preferred, along with a background in statistical analysis. Familiarity with Linux, networking, storage, and virtualization automation tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet will also be beneficial. In-depth knowledge of container orchestrators and cluster management software, as well as experience with data stores and indexers like PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and Redis, will be critical to your success in this role.
