About the position

The Software Engineer (DevOps) role involves architecting, building, and maintaining secure multi-zone AWS cloud infrastructure. The position focuses on implementing microservices architecture for web applications and automating CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment and management of applications in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build & maintain secure multi-zone AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS Services, Ansible, Docker & Kubernetes.
• Implement microservices architecture for web applications by writing Docker files, building images, and launching containers through Docker & Kubernetes orchestration.
• Design & implement VPC service for extending customer on-premises datacenter with AWS Cloud using AWS VPC, VPN, and direct connect services.
• Install, upgrade, virtualize, maintain & configure Ubuntu, AIX & Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Design & implement cross-region read replica RDS database.
• Implement end-to-end web application architecture, including Jenkins master & slave architecture to serve Jenkins jobs.
• Automate CI/CD pipeline through Python & Groovy scripts.
• Configure Ansible master & client architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Computer) or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus, AWS Services, Ansible, GIT, Maven, Python & Groovy.
