About the position
The Software Engineer-DevSecOps 3 position is focused on enhancing the security and efficiency of software development and deployment processes within a DoD environment. The role involves hardening infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, deploying containerized applications, and developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate infrastructure management. The position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and emphasizes collaboration with DoD practices for cloud and deployment environments.
Responsibilities
- Harden infrastructure for development and production environments.
- Build and operate continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
- Deploy containerized applications with a container orchestration tool.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for infrastructure automation.
- Integrate with DoD practices for cloud and deployment environments.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jenkins).
- Implementing DevSecOps practices within the DoD environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in .NET environments (.vbproj, .csproj) with InstallShield.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation Tools developing Infrastructure as Code (HashiCorp Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with Linux Environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL 9).
- Experience with Windows Environments (Windows Server, Windows 10/11).
- Experience with Government Cloud Environments (AWS).
