About the position
The Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team at Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Administrator to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capabilities. This role involves system administration in a DevSecOps environment, focusing on automation, software deployment, and troubleshooting for critical customer programs. The position requires collaboration with a diverse team of technical professionals and offers opportunities to interface with key customers in the Missile Defense Agency.
Responsibilities
- Developing and deploying Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability.
- Assisting in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment.
- Working with leading DevOps practices and tooling such as Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro.
- Proposing system administration process improvements to reduce overall maintenance requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration.
- Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with automation.
- Active DoD security Clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
- Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower.
- Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault.
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD.
- Experience with Nexus.
- Experience in virtualization technology, including VMware.
- Understanding of HP server configuration.
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification.
