About the position

The Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team at Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced professional to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capabilities. This role involves system administration, software deployment, and automation in a DevSecOps environment, contributing to the critical Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. The position requires collaboration with a diverse team of technical professionals and offers opportunities to interface with key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability.
• Assisting in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment.
• Working with leading DevOps practices and tooling such as Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro.
• Proposing system administration process improvements to reduce overall maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration.
• Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with automation.
• Active DoD security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower.
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault.
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD.
• Experience with Nexus.
• Experience in virtualization technology, including VMware.
• Understanding of HP server configuration.
• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification.
