About the position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on DevSecOps. This role involves working with a software development team to support product development, emphasizing the automation of development pipelines, security integration, and best practices for automated deployment. Responsibilities

• Support product development as part of a software development team.
• Learn and apply critical skills involved in DevSecOps practices.
• Automate development pipelines and integrate security measures.
• Implement automated deployment best practices.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Gitlab and development pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience with a modern programming language such as Java, Python, Perl, Go, or C#.
• Must possess a Top Secret security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in DevSecOps practices and technologies.
• Familiarity with Continuous Deployment and Infrastructure as Code tools like ArgoCD, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Gitlab pipeline tools.
• Familiarity with software development security tools such as Fortify or Sonarqube.
• Familiarity with operating in Cloud environments.
• Pursuing a Software Engineering degree track.
